allen
Curious what others are playing for a "Harmon Mute" type of sound. I've seen a lot of the Joral Bubble mutes out there - but curious what other alternatives exist out there? I've heard others talk about the mutes from BestBrass, but have never played one. What Harmon-sounding mutes are others playing?
TrumpetForum
I ran across this recent video from Trent @ Austin Custom Brass. Great video resource to show the differences / similarities of the majority of harmon mutes out there today. I found this very interesting, think you will also! Doug
I did something I swore I'd never do; I just purchased a FAXX Aluminum Bubble online. It is a good comparison to the Jo Ral Bubble. The price was very much a part of the decision process. And, as I am "stuck at home", I figured, why not!
J. Jericho
I like the Humes & Berg #111. It may look splashy, but it's sturdy, and it plays in tune. Edited May 20, 2020 by J. Jericho
Garytsheehan
I personally prefer Harmon branded Harmon mutes. I also think the dents add character! Edited May 22, 2020 by Garytsheehan
